Formulating Success — One Product at a Time Johanne Joseph was born in Haiti, where — like most families — there were high expectations for her to become a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. But it was a deeply personal experience during her teenage years that would shape her true calling. Johanne recalls her hair being called "a problem" no one wanted to deal with. Her kinky, natural hair — full and beautiful in her own eyes — was met with intolerance, aggression, and pain every time it was combed or styled. Those feelings of inadequacy and emotional trauma became the seed of something powerful. At 16, Johanne immigrated to the United States with her mind made up: she would transform the way she cared for her own hair and become an advocate for women and children with natural hair. She went on to become a Master Hairstylist for 15 years, building a reputation as a go-to expert in the industry. One of her greatest passions was formulating products — experimenting in her kitchen and sharing them with friends and family. Their honest, encouraging feedback gave her the confidence to turn her passion into a brand. J'Organic Solutions was born from adversity and built on authenticity. Johanne's father was an Agronomist — a scientist who studies how plants can be grown and used to benefit society. That influence runs deep in every formula. She spent years researching and perfecting safe, effective, organic products that honor the natural beauty of textured hair. To preserve Haiti's rich agricultural heritage, Johanne personally imports the Moringa and Castor Oil used in J'Organic Solutions products — ingredients rooted in the land she loves. Every bottle is a bridge between her heritage and her mission: to give women and children the self-esteem they deserve through quality, natural hair care. Handcrafted with natural, plant-based ingredients — no harsh chemicals. Founded and run by Johanne and her family from Northern Florida since 2016. Manufactured in our own facility in Northern Florida with 6+ full-time employees. Moringa and Castor Oil sourced directly from Haiti, honoring our roots. Haiti will always be at the center of Johanne's heart. She makes it a priority to reach back and build up — working directly with non-profit organizations to impact communities with jobs, school supplies, and access to resources.
