Johanne Joseph’s journey in the beauty industry is a testament to resilience and transformation. Growing up in Haiti, she faced high expectations to pursue a traditional career as a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. However, her early experiences, marked by trauma and low self-esteem, fueled her desire to change the narrative around natural hair and empower others.

From a young age, Johanne felt that her natural, kinky hair was perceived as a problem—one that was often met with intolerance and frustration. Each styling session became a painful reminder of inadequacy, leaving her with deep emotional scars. But rather than letting these challenges define her, Johanne took control of her story. At just 16, after immigrating to the U.S., she decided to embrace her natural hair and advocate for others facing similar struggles by becoming a successful beautician.

One Product at a Time with J’Organic Solutions

For over 15 years, Johanne honed her craft as a Master Hairstylist, earning a reputation as a trusted expert in the industry. During this time, she began experimenting with product formulation in her kitchen, sharing her creations with friends and family. Their positive feedback ignited her passion and inspired her to launch her own beauty brand. Johanne’s journey underscores the idea that adversity can spark innovation. Fueled by a commitment to authenticity, she embarked on a mission to create all-natural products for textured hair that would elevate the self-esteem of women and children alike. Influenced by her family's tradition of using herbs and natural resources for healing, Johanne spent years perfecting her formulas to ensure safety, effectiveness, and organic quality. With her father’s background as an Agronomist, she developed a deep appreciation for locally sourced ingredients, which inspired her to incorporate Moringa and Castor Oil from Haiti into J’Organic Solutions’ products.

Her impressive manufacturing facility in Northern Florida employs over six dedicated team members, producing a growing collection of more than 20 hair care products for adults and children. Each beautifully packaged Hair Kit is designed to promote Healthy Hair Growth, Hydrated Curls, and Kid’s Healthy Hair Growth & Manageability, catering to the entire family. Johanne’s heart remains deeply connected to Haiti, where she actively supports her community through non-profit initiatives. Her efforts focus on creating jobs, providing school supplies, and improving access to essential resources, ensuring that she gives back to the land that shaped her.
